Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson accepted an invitation from a Holocaust survivor to visit the Auschwitz concentration camp after a Zoom meeting.
Earlier this month, the 33-year-old Jackson published a series of anti-Semitic posts to his Instagram, including a quotation attributed to Adolf Hitler. Jackson apologized multiple times, and the Eagles released a statement that called the posts “appalling.”
Edward Mosberg, 94, extended the invitation to Jackson during their call. According to The Jerusalem Post, Mosberg dressed in the uniform he wore while he was held in the Mauthausen concentration camp in Austria
